The objective of the MY MIND YOUR MONEY is to provide a meaningful learning experience for students who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity at some point in careers. As such, most ideas entered in the competition will be ideas for a new business.

Key Terms :-
a) Company Description: Legal establishment, history, start-up plans, etc.
b) Product or Service: Describe what you're selling. Focus on customer benefits.
c) Market Analysis: You need to know your market, customer needs, where they are, how to reach them, etc.
d) Strategy and Implementation: Be specific. Include management responsibilities with budget. Make sure you can track results.
e) Web Plan Summary: For e-commerce, include discussion of website, development costs, operations, sales and marketing strategies.
d) Management Team: Describe the organization and the key management team members.

Build your plan, then organize it.

RULES:
• Each team can have a maximum of 3-4 members, each member can submit only one proposal.
• The proposal innovation/challenge idea can either be completely original or an improvement on the current technologies.
• The complete report along with the executive summary should reach us by post/email (mail@azzarohec.com) on or before 12th march,2013 and the selected entries will be intimated latest by 15th march,2013.
• The cover page should conatin the names of all the team members along with their email id's, contact no. and their current institutions.
• The final report should be limited to 15pages,neatly typed in 1.5 line space and 12pt. font (preferably in MS-WORD and in Times New Roman).

The candidates for the above mentioned event shall be selected in the following manner:-
a) Registration forms shall be made available to help us better evaluate the candidates and their capabilities.
b) A team can comprise maximum of six members
c) We shall not compromise with any form of violation(s) in the described event.
d) Time limit will be 15-20 min.

(PHOTOGRAPHY EVENT)

RULES: The candidates for the above mentioned event shall be selected in the following manner:-
a) Registration forms shall be made available to help us better evaluate the candidates and their capabilities.
b) Candidates shortlisted from the above round are to arrive for a scheduled interview with our panel.
c) The finalist(s) shall be announced on the basis of the above mentioned interview.
d) Maximum of two; can comprise a team.
e) There shall be constraints on the usage of camera; the necessary instructions will be given to the selected few.
f) We shall not compromise with any form of violation(s) in the described event.

POLITE CONTROVERSY

(DEBATE)

All it takes is to construct a carefully prepared argument to mortify, petrify and stupefy the opponent and then tear the opponent's argument apart when he lets his guard down. All you need is strategic thinking and ruthlessness to go for the kill…..

RULES:
a) A team will consist of two participants; one for the proposition & other against the proposition.
b) Both the speaker will get 1 minute each to express their views, then there will be rebuttal session of 1 minute.
c) The topic will be given 1-2 hrs prior to the commencement of the debate.

BINDAAS BOL

Are we witty, bold, creative and humorous? That's all it takes to stand in front of a huge audience and pull off a convincing act. It is a literary event carried out without preparation or forethought. It challenges the spontaneity and promptness of the participant(s) on a given topic, with in a time constraint.

RULES:
a) Topics will be given on the spot.
b) One minute will be given for thinking.
c) Each participant will get 2.5 minutes to express his/her views on the topic chosen.
d) There will be a bell to begin the speech. There will be another bell after two minutes' speech, after which 30 seconds will be given for winding up.

TWO SIDES OF A COIN

Many people have the rare talent of being able to defend their stand on a topic. But we are looking for the wafer thin majority of people who can successfully speak for both contrasting sides of the topic and stand their ground on both of them. An event where your presence of mind and quick thinking would be your only assets to prove that you have it in you to go all the way.

RULES:
a) The topic will be given on the spot
b) The speaker will get 1 minute to think & 2 minutes to speak for the motion and another 2 minutes to speak against the motion.

(SINGING)

A chance for amateur singers to sing with the track and thrill the public. Make your voice "The voice of AZZARO"- be it the soulful sufi, endthralling english or bombastic bollywood track
Sub categories:

SOLO SINGING/ DUET SINGING
RULES:
a)  Each participant will get 3-4 minutes to perform.
b)  Recorded tracks are allowed. The participant has to submit the recorded track in a CD in audio format.
It is advisable to bring a copy in a pen drive to avoid unforeseen difficulties.
c)  Participants should bring their own Instruments. Each participant can either use a recorded track (karaoke) OR maximum two instruments at a time. If the participant plays any instrument, it will be counted as one.
d)  The judges' choice will be taken as final.
e)  The organizers have the right to disqualify any participant if they find any on-stage comment or gesture indecent or inappropriate to the occasion.

    • Each participant will be given a maximum of 3-4 minutes.
    • Each participant should bring his/her own CD. The CD should contain only the track on which the participant is performing, preferably in audio format.
    • Judges' decision will be final.
    • Judging Criteria : Choreography, Costumes, Expressions, Stage Usage, Overall Impact, Audience Response.

  • DUET DANCE
      RULES:
    • The entries in this contest will comprise of two partners:
      (Either boy-boy, girl-girl or boy-girl ).
    • Contestants should make sure that the songs chosen by them should not contain any abusive or vulgar language .
    • The time limit is 3 - 4 minutes .
    • Each participant should bring his/her own CD. The CD should contain only the track on which the
      participant is performing, preferably in audio format.
    • Judges' decision will be final.
    • Judging Criteria : Choreography, Costumes, Expressions, Stage Usage, Overall Impact, Audience Response

  • GROUP DANCE
      RULES:
    • The maximum time allowed for the performance is 5-6 minutes.
    • There should be maximum 8-10 members.
    • Free style dance (all kinds of dances allowed).
    • There is restriction on the use of fire or any inflammable object and glass shatter on stage
    • The teams must bring CDs for the music (audio format).
    • Judging criteria: Dance, Concept and depiction, Costumes, Innovation, Coordination and Synchronization,
    • Overall Impact and Audience Response.

CURTAIN CALL

(SKITS/PLAYS)

If you think that real actors don't need props, that all they need is a message, then gather together a cast and take your audience on an evocative roller coaster.

RULES:
  • Each team should have a minimum of 6 members and cannot exceed 20.
  • The maximum performance time is 12-13 minutes 'curtain to curtain' and minimum of 12 minutes.
  • Team is free to choose the theme on its own.
  • The drama can be bilingual. Usage of both English and Hindi is allowed.
  • Negative marks will be awarded for both, exceeding time limit, and not completing the minimum time.
  • Teams can be subjected to negative marking on issues like use of abusive language, vulgarity, etc. in the play.
  • Teams must bring their own costumes and props as the organizers will not provide anything.

    • Judging Criteria:
  • Performance in acting(dialogue delivery, expressions, body movements)-50%
  • Presentation encompassing costumes, music, props, use of stage etc. - 20%
  • Successfully depicting the plot or theme - 20%
  • Marks for originality are 10%

Rules:
  • Poem should not exceed 4 minutes.
  • Poem can be recited in any language (Eng./Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu).
  • Poem can be self composed or written by any other author.

X-OPERIA

(choreography)

Good choreography fuses eye, ear and mind. Choreography literally means 'dance writing'. So let the moves manifest your ideas and write a beautiful ballet.

RULES:
  • There has to be a central theme or a storyline in your performance. Usage of props is compulsory.
  • Note that there are no marks for the theme but marks are for how proficiently you carry the theme in your performance.
  • The time limit is 10-12 minutes.
  • The team shall consist of 10-18 members and 2 coordinators (who will not be participating).
  • Judging criteria: Choreography, Costumes, Props, How the Theme has been carried out, Formations, Expressions, Synchronization, Stage Usage, Overall Impact and Audience Response.
